Tell Gov. Rauner that he must sign $15 bill (SB 81) to raise wages for 2.3 million IL workers

After the historic vote and passage of the $15 IL minimum wage in the IL General Assembly, the bill is now Gov. Rauner’s responsibility.

Gov. Rauner has to sign it if he wants to generate $2.3 billion in profit for the state. It would be a historic economic stimulus for our communities, from Carbondale to the Quad Cities.

He has to sign it if he wants to lift 40% of IL workers out of poverty, including 46% of women, 48% of African Americans, and 61% of Latinos.

He has to sign it if he wants to create more jobs for the state. He has to sign it if he stands with IL working families.

He has to sign it if he cares about Illinois.
