Rev. Dr. William Barber II Calls #StrikeFastFood A Critical Moment in History

During the December 4 nationwide fast food, dollar store, and convenience store worker walk outs, workers in Durham, NC, were joined by North Carolina NAACP President Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II. Reverend Barber spoke broadly about how the fight for living wages and union rights is part of a critical moment in history bringing together several key movements to create a more equitable and just society.
It’s a great speech and well worth a listen.
