Today, the Fight for $15 joined with global federations and labor organizations representing tens of millions of workers around the world to file a powerful complaint with the OECD against McDonald’s for systemic gender based violence and harassment.

The complaint alleges rampant gender-based violence and harassment at McDonald’s restaurants in countries including Australia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, France, the United Kingdom, the United States, and more.

This includes McDonald’s workers like Jamelia Fairley, who filed suit against a McDonald’s restaurant in Florida after she was sexually harassed, including receiving unwanted touching and lewd comments about her 1-year-old daughter.

McDonald’s has exposed its employees to this humiliating, unsafe work environment for too long, and today’s complaint marks a turning point.

We will not be treated this way. Enough is enough.
