In 2020, 24 states and Washington D.C. are raising their minimum wage.
That means more money for rent, putting gas in the car, buying diapers—all the things that have been slipping out of reach for working Americans like us.
These sweeping wins mean our movement is kicking off 2020 with serious momentum.
The number of cities and counties with at least a $15 minimum wage will double in 2020 to 32.
This wouldn’t have happened without the dedicated activism from @FightFor15, unions, grassroots orgs and workers across the country fighting for dignity. https://t.co/c26TKusJfc

Now, the pressure is on corporations and elected leaders to deliver for workers. While not all of these raises will get to $15 this year, we are closer to $15/hour nationally than ever before because of the work we’ve done together.
As we look towards the year ahead and all that we want to accomplish, everyone should take a moment to celebrate the results of all of our hard work!
