New Jersey took a big step towards another Fight for $15 victory as their State Senate passed a $15 statewide min wage. That’d mean raises for more than 1,000,000 workers!

It’s up to the Governor now to sign this historic legislation — if Christie fails his state’s people and opts to fecklessly veto, then the legislature could override his mistake with a 2/3 majority vote. We’ll be watching.

New Jersey has the chance to be yet another state leading the charge to $15 across the country. They’d join their immediate neighbor, New York, plus California and many cities across the country that have stepped up to the plate for their hard-working citizens.
