Before the Fight for $15 began, raising the minimum wage wasn’t even an issue. In just a few years, we’ve brought this issue to the forefront of discussion – and we are winning. Places like California, New York State, and Washington, DC have approved legislation for $15/hour. As long as we stick together, we will win $15/hour and union rights FOR ALL.

About Fight for $15 Chicago
The “$15 for Illinois Future” Coalition is made up of low-wage workers, legislators, advocates, and dozens of organizations across Illinois.
It’s time to raise the minimum wage for the 40% of working people in Illinois that are paid less $15, including 46% of women, 48% of African-Americans, and 61% of Latinos.
Raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour would provides billions of dollars to the state’s economy and would millions of workers support their families.
