Today, Fight for $15 is proud to announce we are joining The Strike for Black Lives on Monday, July 20 and ask you to join us.

On July 20, thousands will stand up, go on strike, walk off the job, and raise our voices to demand racial and economic justice at work. This isn’t a choice – it’s a mandate. We MUST stay loud.

We must stay loud because even after the disgusting murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Tony McDade, even after so many Black and Brown “essential workers” have been sent to the frontlines of the pandemic without enough protection or pay, even after continued, repeated, and worsening attacks on people of color, we still aren’t being seen and heard.

We need BIG change, and our movement can deliver that. We’re asking you to join us.

The protests around the country over the past month have woken this country up – but we can’t stop. We must stay loud.

We must stay loud until we have justice for George Floyd and so many others. We must stay loud until we can make a living wage to support our families. And we must stay loud until everyone has the right to join a union to have a say in our future.
