Waffle House workers’ demands are simple: A workplace based on respect, dignity, and fair pay for everyone.

The in-store violence that many people hear about in the news or watch on viral TikTok videos is real. And for many workers, the only safety training is a workplace poster that basically says, Don’t be a hero, just give ’em what they want.

Waffle House workers shouldn’t worry for their life every time they go to work. No one should. That’s why we spoke out to let Waffle House know: We’re not backing down. The demands are clear:

• 24/7 security at all stores
• An end to unfair mandatory paycheck deductions for meals
• A fair wage
